Scot King has been a finalist and prize winner at many piano contests throughout the USA & France.His recording of the complete Etudes of Chopin was highly regarded at the KUSC radio station in Los Angeles, CA where a portion of his cd was broadcast on a program with other French music.

Mr. King graduated from California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA where he studied with Leonid Hambro. After Cal Arts, he obtained an advanced degree in piano performance at the Royal College of Music in London, England where he worked with Colin Horsely, a widely acclaimed concert pianist from New Zealand. His other notable musical influences have included the late Steven de Groote, (1st prize winner of the 7th Van Cliburn contest) and his private piano teacher Aube Tzerko, whom he worked with at his home in Hollywood, CA throughout his early years.
